So,  you burned your socks last Spring and you are still sailing sock-less?   You have accepted the MURPHY CHALLENGE!    A group picture will be taken  of all of Murphy the Racing Beagle's friends, who like Murphy, sail sock-less.  The photo will be taken Sunday, December 6, at the Hampton Yacht Club  "back porch",  immediately prior to the 32nd running of the Gaboon Race.  We'll plan to snap the shot at 11:30.  So, bare your feet and go down in history as a participant in The First Annual Murphy Challenge!

SPINSHEET CREW LISTING PARTY - SOUTH  is well on its way through the planning stage.  April  3, 2010 (Saturday) has been set as the date for all skippers and crewbies to gather, meet, schmooze, and make sailing season plans.  The gathering will take place at the southern Bay sailors'  favorite watering hole,  MARKER 20  in downtown Hampton (one block off the waterfront).  Check out the sailing and racing scene in the southern Bay.  Get a ride on a race boat or find that much needed crew to round out the team.  Plan to nob some hobs and get involved, really involved,  in sailing in 2010.  Watch SBRNYCU and SpinSheet  Magazine for updates.  (NOTE:  for information on sponsorships and/or info booths for your organization, contact  Mary Ewenson at SpinSheet  (410) 216-9309  or  David Taylor at (757) 344-5292.)
